Salonpas Pain Relief Patches provide long-lasting relief from acute aches and pains such as:
The patches can be used to treat mild muscle and joint pain throughout the day and night.
Each pack contains 5 patches, providing up to 3 days of relief per pack.
For pain sufferers who prefer not to use oral pain relief, such as paracetamol or ibuprofen tablets, Salonpas provides pain relief by delivering the medicine directly through the skin.
You can get Salonpas Pain Relief Patches over the counter from high street pharmacies, and from reputable online suppliers such as Prescription Doctor.
The trans-dermal delivery system of Salonpas patches delivers a steady dose of an anti-inflammatory through the skin, directly into the location of the pain.
The adhesive patches are designed to be flexible, so that they can be applied to a wide variety of areas including the joints.
Each patch contains methyl salicylate and levomenthol.
Methyl salicylate is a topical anti-inflammatory that helps to reduce swelling in the muscles and joints.
Levomenthol provides a cooling sensation to the skin, and is used in a number of other joint pain products.
Together, the ingredients help to relieve the pain and discomfort of mild aches and pains.
Salonpas Pain Relief Patches are applied directly over the source of the pain.
Each patch contains an adhesive that keeps the patch in place - even over joints like the elbows and knees.
Only use 1 patch at a time. Apply the patch over an area of clean, clear, dry skin.
Do not cut or tear the patches.
Leave the patch on for between 8 and 12 hours. If pain persists after 12 hours, you can remove the patch and apply a new Salonpas Pain Relief Patch.
Do not apply Salonpas Patches over irritated, infected, or broken skin, such as cuts, scratches or rashes.
Do not apply Salonpas Patches to the face or genitals.
If pain worsens or persists for longer than 3 days, speak to your doctor.
To dispose a used Salonpas Patch, fold the patch in half so that the adhesive side sticks to itself, and throw it away in the bin.
Do not flush used patches down the toilet.
If you have Salonpas Patches that are expired or no longer needed, take them to your local pharmacy and ask them to dispose them safely for you.
