What is Fucidin H cream used for?

Fucidin H cream is used to treat eczema and dermatitis, where the skin is also infected with bacteria. The treatment is available in 30g and 60g tubes from Prescription Doctor.

Every item we offer through our website is dispatched via a fast and discreet delivery. If your order is approved by one of our prescribers before 3pm on a weekday, we can send out your item the same day, intended for a next-day delivery.

Our online prescribers are at hand to discuss the treatment with you, and settle any concerns you have.

How does Fucidin H Cream work?

Fucidin H antibiotic cream contains 2% fusidic acid and 1% hydrocortisone.

Fusidic acid is an antibiotic that kills germs and bacteria on the skin. Hydrocortisone is a corticosteroid that reduces inflammation in the skin.

How long does Fucidin H Cream take to work?

You should notice an improvement in your condition after a few days of using Fucidin H cream.

Fucidin H cream should only be used for a maximum of 2 weeks.

How do I use Fucidin H Cream?

One of our online prescribers will instruct you how to use Fucidin H. You should always follow the doctor's prescription.

Always wash your hands before using Fucidin H cream.

  1. Apply a small dose of Fucidin H to the afflicted region of skin twice a day for up to 2 weeks.
  2. Gently massage the cream into your skin. Do not rub the cream in vigorously, as this may cause irritation.
  3. Unless you are using Fucidin H to treat eczema on your hands, you should wash your hands after using the cream.

Further information about how to use Fucidin H Cream can be found within the patient information leaflet enclosed with your medicine.

What should I do if I forget to use Fucidin H Cream when I should?

If you forget to use Fucidin H cream, apply it as soon as you realise and continue to use it as prescribed.

Do not apply extra Fucidin H cream to make up for a forgotten dose.

What should I do if I use too much Fucidin H cream?

If you apply more Fucidin H cream than you should, wipe it away with a tissue or paper towel and dispose of it carefully.

Using more Fucidin H cream than prescribed will not treat your condition any faster, but may increase your risk of side effects.

If you are unsure how much Fucidin H cream you should use, ask our online prescriber. Your dosage will also be printed on a label affixed to the packaging.
