Salicylic acid, the active ingredient in Bazuka Extra Strength Gel, softens the skin by breaking down a protein called keratin.
Keratin is an important structural component of hair, nails, and the outer layer of skin.
The gel dries to form a protective water-resistant barrier around the affected area. This protects the area from infection, while also preventing the infected cells from spreading to other parts of the body or to other people.
It can take up to 12 weeks of treatment with Bazuka Extra Strength Gel for the wart, verruca, corn or callus to clear up.

Always wash your hands after applying Bazuka gel or using the emery board.
Do not share the emery board with other people.
Take care not to get the gel in your eyes, nose, and mouth, as well as on damaged skin, wounds, and grazes.
If you accidentally get the gel on an area of healthy skin, wash the area with soap and warm water to remove the gel.

Never throw away medicine via household or water waste, as this can damage the environment. Instead, take any unwanted or expired medicine to your local pharmacy, and ask them to discard the medicine for you.
Always store Bazuka Gel out of sight and reach from children and pets.
Never share your medicines with anybody else - even if they are experiencing the same symptoms or have been diagnosed with the same condition as you.
If you forget to use Bazuka Extra Strength Gel, apply it as soon as you realise and continue to use it as usual. Do not apply more Bazuka Extra Strength Gel to make up for a missing dosage.
If you apply more Bazuka Extra Strength Gel than you should, or the gel gets onto healthy skin, wipe it away with a tissue or paper towel. Wash the area with warm water.
You may drink alcohol while using Bazuka Extra Strength Gel.
Bazuka Extra Strength Gel should not impair your ability to drive or operate machinery.
Bazuka Extra Strength Gel is not known to have any contraindications.
Bazuka Extra Strength Gel should be stored below 25oC. It should be kept away from flames and ignition sources. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after expiry date.
Bazuka Extra Strength Gel can cause staining and discolouration to fabrics. Be careful not to spill any of the gel to prevent damage to clothing and other possessions.
