What if I Eat Too Soon After Taking a Wegovy Tablet?

It isn’t the end of the world if you eat too soon after taking a Wegovy pill, but you should really, really try not to. While it may not cause additional side effects, it will greatly reduce the medication's effectiveness, essentially wasting the majority of that day’s treatment.

The 30-minute fast after taking the pill prevents food from entering the stomach and interrupting the absorption process.

Are Wegovy Pill Doses the Same as Injections?

Wegovy pills and Wegovy injections contain the same active ingredient, Semaglutide. They differ in administration, have slight differences in side effects, and are taken at different doses: the pill is taken daily, and the injection is given weekly. Can I Take More than One Wegovy Pill Per Day?

No. Do not take more than one Wegovy pill a day, as this can produce severe side effects due to an excessive amount of semaglutide in the body. It can be extremely dangerous to take two pills a day, so never do so, even if you missed your dose the day prior.
