At Prescription Doctor, we take your privacy very seriously. All items are packaged in plain, discreet packaging that gives no indication of its contents.
Jentadueto contains two ingredients; metformin and linagliptin.
Linagliptin increases the amount of insulin your pancreas produces. This increase of insulin helps to move sugar from the blood and into the cells that need to use it as fuel.
Metformin reduces the amount of glucose (sugar) your liver produces.
In combination, both linagliptin and metformin can reduce your blood sugar levels effectively.
Jentadueto controls blood sugar levels, helping to avoid the above health risks. Taking Jentadueto as prescribed, combined with a good diet and exercise, improves insulin levels and its effects.
Always take Jentadueto as prescribed by your doctor.
The Jentadueto dosage depends on your condition, taking into account if you are already taking linagliptin and/or metformin.
Take Jentadueto tablets twice a day.
Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.
Jentadueto should be taken with a meal to prevent stomach upset.
Never take more than the maximum daily recommended dose of 5mg linagliptin and 2,000mg metformin hydrochloride. Keep taking the medication as long as it is prescribed.
If you forget to take Jentadueto when you should, take it as soon as you remember. Never double the dosage to make up and if it is nearly time for the next dose, take just one dose and continue taking it as prescribed by your doctor.
You may experience lactic acidosis. Symptoms can include feeling sick, vomiting, stomach ache, muscle cramps, generally feeling unwell with extreme tiredness and breathing difficulties.
