Buy Desloratadine Online

Desloratadine is a non-drowsy antihistamine that helps control allergies and hayfever. It comes in 5 mg tablets and is normally used to prevent and treat hayfever, also known as allergic rhinitis. It's also used to treat allergies occurring from pet or dust mite allergies.

One of our doctors can prescribe Desloratadine online, which our UK-regulated pharmacy can fulfil. Simply complete our medical questionnaire so that our doctors can ensure the medicine is safe for you, and if your order is approved before 3 pm, Monday to Friday, our UK pharmacy will dispense and dispatch your hayfever treatment the same day for next-day delivery.

What is Hayfever?

Hayfever is an allergic reaction to pollen that occurs seasonally from early Spring through Autumn.

How long hayfever lasts depends on the kind of pollen that you are allergic to.

The body sees the pollen as a harmful infection, so its immune system releases histamines in defence.

The histamines create reactions which produce these symptoms:

  • runny nose
  • sneezing
  • watery eyes
  • cough
  • itchy nose, mouth, throat and ears
  • forehead and temple pain
  • earache
  • headache
  • tiredness

Asthma sufferers may also experience the following:

  • tightness in chest
  • shortness of breath
  • cough and wheeze

Hayfever symptoms may last weeks and months, unlike a cold, which lasts a couple of weeks.

There is no cure for hayfever, but your pharmacist can recommend hayfever treatments, such as antihistamine tablets, eye drops and nasal sprays.

If your symptoms don't improve after recommended treatments, see your doctor.

There are additional things you can do at home to help ease your hayfever symptoms:

  • keep doors and windows shut
  • stay indoors
  • wash off pollen and change clothes after you've been outdoors
  • apply petroleum jelly around your nostrils to trap pollen
  • put pollen filters on your car's air vents
  • use wraparound sunglasses to block pollen

It's important to treat hayfever because symptoms can worsen, and it disrupts your daily life. Hayfever can also make asthma symptoms worse.

If you're looking to order desloratadine online, our online prescribers can determine whether it is suitable for you following an online consultation.

How Does Desloratadine Work?

When pollen enters the body, the immune system mistakes the harmless substance for an infection and releases a chemical called histamine. This chemical causes blood vessels to become dilated and inflamed. It can also cause itching, runny nose, sneezing and watering eyes in an attempt to eradicate the pollen.

Desloratadine prevents this allergic reaction from occurring by blocking histamine receptors in the body.

How Do I Take Desloratadine?

Take one tablet a day. You can take it with or without food but swallow the tablet whole. Take it every day for as long as needed.
