Zoton FasTab is a brand of lansoprazole from the American pharmaceutical company Pfizer. It is used to treat heartburn, also known as gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GORD), stomach ulcers, and to protect the stomach when taking non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) like Ibuprofen.
Zoton FasTab is available in 15mg and 30mg capsules which dissolve on the tongue.

Zoton FasTab belongs to a group of medicines called proton pump inhibitors (PPIs). This class of medication stop cells in the stomach from producing excessive amounts of acid.
Cells found on the stomach lining have proton pumps that produce gastric (stomach) acid. Zoton FasTab's active ingredient, lansoprazole, stops the proton pumps from working, consequently reducing the production of gastric acid.
It is through stomach acid reduction that Zoton FasTab helps in relieving painful heartburn symptoms by decreasing the risk of acid escaping via the lower oesophageal sphincter and causing GORD.
Always take Zoton FasTab as prescribed.
It's important to take Zoton FasTab at the same time every day.
Take Zoton FasTab 30 minutes before food.
