Zoton FasTab contains lansoprazole, a class of medicine known as PPI (Proton Pump Inhibitor). Available in 15 mg and 30 mg capsules, Zoton FasTab is used in the treatment of heartburn, also known as Gastro-Oesophageal Reflux Disease (GORD), by reducing acid levels in the stomach to allow healing to take place.
You can Buy Zoton FasTab oro-dispersible tablets online from our UK registered pharmacy. If our qualified doctor approves your order before 3pm, Monday to Friday, our pharmacy will dispatch your item the same day intended for a next day, discreet delivery.
Cells found on the stomach lining have proton pumps that produce gastric (stomach) acid. Zoton FasTab's active ingredient, lansoprazole, stops the proton pumps from working, consequently reducing the production of gastric acid.
It is through stomach acid reduction that Zoton FasTab helps in relieving painful heartburn symptoms by decreasing the risk of acid escaping via the lower oesophageal sphincter and causing GORD.
Medication should always be taken as the pharmacist or doctor prescribes. Consult your pharmacist or doctor if you are not sure.
Place Zoton FasTab on the tongue and gently suck for the capsule to dissolve and release micro-granules that should be swallowed without chewing.
The capsule can also be swallowed whole with a glass of water.
Your doctor or pharmacist might ask you to administer Zoton FasTab using a syringe if you are having swallowing difficulties. The doctor will instruct you on how to administer via syringe should this be the case.
The recommended dose for heartburn treatment is one 15 mg or 30 mg Zoton FasTab capsule daily for 4 weeks. Try to take the medication at the same time every day. You are likely to get better results by taking Zoton FasTab first thing in the morning. Report to your pharmacist or doctor if symptoms haven't cleared within 4 weeks.
Before you begin treatment with Zoton FasTab, we encourage you to read the patient information leaflet (PIL) which contains information regarding the safety of this medicine. You should retain this document throughout your course of treatment in case you need to refer back to it.
