Kapake 30/500 mg is a powerful analgesic (painkiller) that contains a non-prescription pain reliever, paracetamol, and the opioid painkiller codeine. Opioids are derivatives of the opium poppy plant.
Kapake 30/500 mg works in two ways to alleviate pain. Codeine works with the central nervous system to change the way the brain interprets pain signals. Paracetamol inhibits the production of prostaglandins, naturally occurring chemicals that produce pain and inflammation at the site of injury or disease.
All oral pain pills, including Kapake 30/500 mg, must begin dissolving in the stomach before they can start to alleviate pain. Relief from pain usually begins 30 to 45 minutes after consuming Kapake 30/500 mg. This medication covers pain for 4 to 6 hours.
It's well regarded as an effective treatment against the pain associated with a range of common health conditions. For example:

Since you take Kapake as needed, it is acceptable to miss doses.
Consult with a physician immediately if you take more Kapake 30/500 mg than you should, even if you feel well. High paracetamol levels may cause serious, delayed-onset liver damage.
As with all drugs, Kapake 30/500 mg may cause unwanted side effects in some people. Some side effects can be serious. Seek immediate medical attention if you experience the following after taking Kapake 30/500 mg:
Pregnant women should not take Kapake 30/500 mg unless under the direction of a physician. Women should not breastfeed while taking this medication, as the codeine in Kapake 30/500 mg passes into breast milk.

To reduce your risk of drug interactions, tell your doctor about all the medications you currently take, including herbal supllements.
Kapake is not generally recommended as a first-line painkiller for toothache. If you are suffering from severe toothache, speak to your doctor about the options of painkillers available.
Kapake is very similar to solpadol. They are both opioid analgesics which contain 30 mg of codeine phosphate and 500 mg of paracetamol.
An individual who has trouble swallowing tablets may perfer solpadol over kapake as solpadol is available as an effervescent (soluble) tablet.
Codeine addiction can be both physical and psychological. With repeated use, the body becomes accustomed to the drug. Withdrawal symptoms may occur once it is no longer present in your system. A psychological urge to recreate the feeling associated with codeine phosphate may remain long after the medication is gone.
If addiction is a concern, speak to your GP or visit talktofrank.com for more advice.
